Help Build a Brighter Future for Local Athletic Programs

In 1949, the Batesville Football program was just a dream. But thanks to the generosity of donors, that dream became a reality.Fast forward 75 years, and the program has grown into a staple of our local athletics scene. Today, we’re calling on that same community spirit to support a new dream: building an aquatic center for our swimmers and a safe space for water safety education.

Just as the BHS football program has flourished with the support of donors, our swim teams have been renting and traveling to competitions for over 25 years. It’s time to give them a home too! This proposed aquatic center will serve as a long-term home for area high schools and as a training facility for surrounding programs.

This project goes beyond competitive swimming. We envision a facility where adults and children of all ages can learn to swim, reducing the risk of drowning. Did you know that drowning is the #1 cause of death in children under 4 and the second leading cause of unintentional injury death for children ages 5-14?
